Over 25 years experience in the entertainment industry

Like most success stories 1st call entertainment has been a journey, an exciting journey in the world of entertainment for it’s founder and MD, Julian Franks.

It started with Julian gaining valuable on hand experience as a performer, firstly performing in numerous plays and cabaret before moving on to Compere and host various shows, Charity events, Open air concerts and Summer Seasons.

He then gained wider entertainment experience compiling and writing a popular entertainment guide for the media.

This was followed by several years working as an events manager and then director of a South West based entertainment and event organising company.

That experience brought him into direct contact with a huge variety of leading acts and bands.

Ten years ago with this valuable and varied experience under his belt he formed ,1st call entertainment.

Throughout this time and to this day Julian performs as an actor in 1st call entertainment’s in house murder mystery company – Murder by Design.

The company still includes some performers who were amongst the very first in the world to present murder mystery entertainment.
