Live Music in the buzzing city of Bristol
1st Call Entertainment have been supplying entertainment in Bristol for over 10 years. We get to entertain in some of the fabulous venues that our home city has to offer. We thoought we would share some of the venues and bands that we have visited in the past few months. Maybe give you some ideas, if you are planning an event in the city.
A view that is difficult to steel your eyes from.
One of the most dramatic venues in the City of Bristol is the Avon Gorge Hotel in Clifton.
This historic hotel offers unparalleled views of Brunel’s Grade One listed Clifton Suspension Bridge, said to be one of the worlds greatest bridges.
Boasting a fantastic panorama, the hotel is also in a very central position for both business and person events alike, with Bristol C
ity Centre within walking distance.
Back in the summer we had our Caribbean Steel Band playing for Ernst & Young’s Summer Ball. The guests were entertained in authentic Caribbean style, adding that perfect atmosphere to the summer night.
The Caribbean Band really added the summer atmosphere.
A venue that doesn’t clown around.
If you want a venue with a difference, as Sophie did for her 40th Birthday Party. Circomedia in Portland Place is certainly different.
Winning the Hudson Heritage Award for its adaptive reuse of space, we create tailored events in our unique central Bristol home at Grade 1 listed, St Paul’s Church in Portland Square from conferences to weddings, birthday parties to award ceremonies. Hirers can choose either to 
run events themselves (‘dry hire’) or to put all of the planning and preparations into the hands of Circomedia’s highly- experienced in-house event management team.
Our Perfect Party Band were on hand to entertain Sophie’s guests as they danced the night away in this fantastic venue. There was not a clown in sight, however.
Well not at that point anyway.
